Brother Collins was born January 14, 1965 in Elizabethton, Tennessee. He has been a member of the Lord’s Church for 20 years. Brother Collins has worked with the Elizabethton Church of Christ in Elizabethton, Tennessee and currently worships with the Centerview Church of Christ in Elizabethton, Tennessee. Brother Collins has served as one of Centerview’s Elders since 2013, where he is actively involved in the work and oversight of the congregation. Brother Collins is married to Aylitta; he and his wife have one son, John Wayne Collins. Brother Collins graduated from Hampton High School in Hampton, Tennessee. He graduated from the Fire Academy with the following: Fire Fighter III, Fire Pump Engineer, Fire Instructor I, C.P.R. Instructor, and Fire Officer I. He is a licensed auctioneer receiving his training from Walter’s State Community College. Brother Collins retired from the Elizabethton Fire Department. He currently has a small cattle farm operation and works with several farm and heavy equipment consignment auction companies. During his off time he enjoys riding his American Quarter Horse, Texas Bob, and showing his horses in ranch and stock horse shows in various places. As well, he enjoys working with the newest member of their family, a cattle dog by the name of Rusty.
Brother Ray was born September 12, 1957 in Bristol, Tennessee. He has been a member of the Lord’s church for 33 years. Brother Ray has worshiped with the Blountville Church of Christ, in Blountville Tennessee, the Mountain View Church of Christ in Bluff City, Tennessee and currently worships with the Centerview Church of Christ in Elizabethton, Tennessee. He has served as one of Centerview’s Elders since 2013 and is actively involved in the teaching program there while overseeing the work of the Church. Brother Ray attended and graduated from Sullivan East High School in Sullivan County, Tennessee. He is married to Crissie. He and his wife have one child, Justin Ray. Brother Ray retired from Bell Helicopters in Piney Flats, Tennessee. Outside of his work for the church, Brother Ray enjoys baseball, bike riding and hiking.
Brother Irick was born August 21, 1962, in Carter County, Tennessee. Brother Irick has been a member of the Lord’s Church for 33 years. He has worked with and preached for several congregations including the Valley Church of Christ in Kingsport, Tennessee, the Stout Hill Church of Christ in Poga, Tennessee and the Centerview Church of Christ in Elizabethton, Tennessee where he served as one of her Elders and is the associate minister. He served as an elder for Centerview for seven years and is actively involved in the teaching program of the congregation. David is married to Connie and they have three sons, Joshua, Jarred and Jacob and they have three handsome grandsons. David attended and graduated from Hampton High School in Hampton, Tennessee. He received a BA from Tennessee Bible College. Brother Irick currently owns and operates Johnson City Locksmith Company. In his off time he enjoys hiking and photography.
Brother Hoss was born December 9, 1960, in Johnson City, Tennessee. He is the son of the late Hubert and Peggy Hoss. He is married to Melissa Kay (Lilley) Hoss of Johnson City, Tennessee. They have two sons, AJ who lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee and Gary who lives in Jonesborough Tennessee. Tony graduated from David Crockett High School in Jonesborough, Tennessee and attended the DeVry School of Technology in Atlanta, Ga. He received his 2 year diploma in (Biblical Studies) in 2005 and 3rd year diploma in (Apologetics) in 2006 from the Tri-City School of Preaching & Christian Development in Elizabethton, Tennessee. He currently preaches and works for the Centerview Church of Christ in Elizabethton, Tennessee where he has served as an elder since 2019. Previously Tony preached and served as an Elder for the Valley Church of Christ in Kingsport, Tennessee for seven years. Tony loves to study the Bible and enjoys gardening, fishing and watching TV in his spare time.
Brother Heaton was born June 11, 1965 in Cleveland, Ohio to Betty and the late LJ Heaton. When he was 3 years old, Michael’s parents moved him and his family back to Carter County, TN. He has been a member of the church since February 1985. He has attended Elizabethton Church of Christ where he served as a deacon for several years. He now attends Centerview Church of Christ where he grew up and serves as a deacon. Michael graduated from Hampton High School in 1983. He married his wife Donna in 1984. He and his wife have two sons, Eric and Seth. He also has two grandchildren. Michael is currently employed at Banner’s Cabinets where he has been employed since 1985. Brother Heaton enjoys being involved in the work of the church, hunting and spending time with his family.
Brother Irick was born September 19th, 1989 in Kingsport, Tennessee to David and Connie Irick. He is married to Holly Chaunteé Nickels of Gray, Tennessee. They have two sons, Jack and his little brother Jenson. Jarred graduated from Hampton High School in 2008 and Milligan College in 2018 with a BS in business administration. Brother Jarred has been a member of the Lord’s church for 15 years. He is currently employed by Bell Textron Inc. in Piney Flats, Tennessee. Brother Irick enjoys working with the church. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
